SURTAŞ has been running the raw materials extraction and in factory production operations of BATISÖKE ÇİMENTO SAN. T.A.Ş., one of the major producers of the cement sector, for the last 15 years. The company had previously operated the Izmir Factory and mine operations of BATIÇİM BATIANADOLU TİC. SAN. A.Ş. for 20 years.

The extraction, figure, loading and transport, using the complete Drilling-Detonating method, of 3.500.000 Ton/Year limestone from the Cankurtaran limestone mine of the BATISÖKE cement factory with an approximately 2.1000.000 Ton/Year clinker production capacity and nearly 1.500.000 ton/year cement grinding capacity; and also the extraction, figure, loading and transport, using the complete Drilling-Detonating method, of 200.000 ton/year limestone from the Gümüşköy limestone mine is done by our company.

The extraction in the BATISÖKE clay mines is also done by our company. In addition to 1.000.000 Ton/Year of clay extraction, figure, loading and transport from the Fevzipaşa and Maliye clay mines, we do the 250.000 Ton/Year trass extraction, figure, loading and transport at the Cankurtaran trass mine.
The operations we do within the cement factory include loading, figuring and transporting 2.000.000 Ton/Year raw materials to the production facility.

Currently we provide services as a support team to the BATISÖKE Cement Factory with Water and Fuel Tankers, Graders, etc. work machines including 6 Excavators, 8 Loaders, 1 Stone Driller and 24 Heavy Duty Trucks. These services are provided 24/7 with the help of a professional team comprised of about 100 people.
